Whitehouse Flexible Tubing to show at OGWA in March 2020
The team at Whitehouse Flexible Tubing Ltd are excited to be travelling to the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show which is held in Oman from 9th – 11th March 2020.
Here we will be launching our new product Octaflex™ which has a huge range of applications in the petrol/energy sector. It will be a very exciting time for us as a company to show off our latest product and to show its benefits to these sectors and beyond.
We will also be showing our specialist range of hoses for the Oil and Gas Industry.
The Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) is the only event in Oman that serves the entire the oil and gas industry. It comprises a series of dedicated yet co-located events. Whitehouse Flexible Tubing – For all purposes
Over the last 5 years we have been investing heavily in our people and technology to enable us to offer a selection of new products and services. Our existing range of strip wound flexible tubing are ideal for protective casings, the conveyance of various materials (e.g. dust, grain pellets, paper trim…etc) and free flowing exhaust applications. Due to the construction of these strip wound tubes they are not water tight and are unsuitable for pressurised applications.
To enable Whitehouse flexible Tubing to provide Flexible Tubing for all purposes we have developed our Metal Hose Department where we are delighted to be able to offer bespoke engineered solutions. We can now satisfy customer enquiries ranging from one offs to thousands off per week and provide all the associated technical support from design assistance to after sales support.
New Website
Another significant development has been in the development of our latest company website which for the first time will introduce an e-commerce facility for all standard popular products.

Since we built our first website in the early po’s we have had several reincarnations as the technology developed and buying behaviours have changed and online purchasing has become more common place.
In the coming months we will be introducing additional features and benefits to further assist our customers and welcome your comments on suggestions.
New Machine to produce Stripwound metallic tubing
As part of our programme for development we have designed and developed a new machine for the manufacture of stripwound flexible metallic tubing. Currently this machine is undergoing final testing and we are producing a limited number os sizes but fully intend to expand the range to cover all popular sizes.
We will be introducing a range of Polygonal Tubing which will enable us to meet the demand for a flexible tube that does not require spot welds on the end and can therefore be processed quickly and efficiently.
In addition this machine will be developed to produce and a Super Heavy Duty Griplock suitable for demanding industrial applications.
Whitehouse Business Investment and Growth
In the last year couple of years Whitehouse flexible tubing have made significant inward invested to further our growth.
We were very excited to visit Oman earlier this year not least because we were visited by His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy the Minister of Commerce and Industry during his visit before he officially opened the show and it opened to the public.
His Excellency showed great interest in our company and its products and was generous enough to wish us good luck at the exhibition.
We were very impressed with Oman and found the people to be very warm and welcoming which is allied with appetite for growth and development.
Having made considerable inward investment to develop our design, testing & manufacturing capabilities we hope to secure more business at home and abroad with the additional products and services we now offer.
