Construction

Fibre packed Concertina is made from a single metal strip that is wrapped round a mandrel with a large deep fibre packed squarelock section. The fibre packing reduces air loss and ensures this stripwound metal hose provides:

Primary Applications

Fibre packed Concertina is an extremely flexible metal hose. This stripwound tube is extensively used in industry particularly where high strength and great flexibility is required and is commonly used for:

Construction

Fibre Packed Concertina is made from deep drawing quality carbon steel to BS 1449 galvanised. The tubing is manufactured by winding profiled metal strip into a tube which has a deep fibre or cotton packed squarelock section.

Square Locked Packed Whitehouse Flexible Tubing

Applications

This tubing combines strength and flexibility with a fibre packing that reduces any air loss through the section which makes it ideal for extraction purposes. This particular construction provides the best radius of all the metallic tubes.
